All our Events are listed below. We host a range of events from personalised book signings to author talks and interactive lectures. Further details about the Events listed below can be obtained by calling us directly.


Our regular monthly and weekly events:

Kids Club: Every Saturday from 2pm come along and join our kids club! Full of stories, art, crafts and lots of fun. Perfect for young children and we are offering 20% of the weeks featured items. What a Bargain!!

Borders Quiz: Every last Thursday of the month. There are rounds on literature, film, music and television so come along and see if you know enough to win a prize.

Book Club: Our general book club meets every second Thursday in the month. Just read the book and come along, all welcome!!

Sci-Fi Book Group:Our Sci-fi, Horror and Graphic Novels book group usually meets on a Wednesday mid month. Check out the event listings below for details.

Womens Book Group: Every last Tuesday of the Month, see below for book choice details.

Jazz Club: Come along and listen to your favourite jazz artosts and discuss their music with other jazz buffs!

All book groups and language classes are run external to Borders so the best thing to do for information is to turn up at the scheduled time and ask the person running the meeting.

 

We are always looking to hold any kind of event at Borders York so if we can help you launch your book, if you want to host a poetry night, a book club or any other kind of group you can think of then give us a call to see if we can help.
