Summer may be over but Borders York is still the best place for books, CDs, DVDs and events! We have trained and friendly staff who will be happy to help you with any enquiry and do their best to find what you are looking for. If you can't make it to the store then give us a call and we may be able to find what you're looking for and post it to your home. Alternatively, our new transactional website (www.borders.co.uk) is now live so you can order from a massive range of books and have them sent right to your door. We have a Starbucks and Paperchase concession instore too, what more could you ask for?

Join us for this terms student discount days, show your student ID at the tills and receive a 20% DISCOUNT on all full priced books, CDs and DVDs!! Save some money buying your text books or just spoil yourself and blow your student loan on DVDs and CDs.

Children's Events

Summer may be over but we are still carrying on having fun here at Borders every Saturday at our Kids Club! Join us from 2pm every week for games, crafts, stories and more fun than you can shake a stick at! Check out our events page for each weeks theme and then just come along and join in.

Teen Book Club

A great opportunity for children who love reading to get together and talk about their favourite books! Just read the book and come along to have your say! All book clubs take place from 4.30pm - 5.30pm

This year is a great year for events and activities here at Borders York and if you want to be a part of it then let us know. We are always happy to hold events so if we can help you launch your book, if you want to host a poetry night, a book club or any other kind of group then give us a call and ask for our events supervisor Lorraine to find out how we can help you.
