All of our events are FREE and everyone is welcome.
We host a wide range of events from book signings to author talks, childrens activities and reading groups. Futher details about the events listed below can be obtained by calling us directly on 0161 476 3392.
We currently have several reading groups running in store which anyone can join. Please contact the store if you would like further details.

Weekend storytime and colouring - Every Saturday and Sunday 2pm in the childrens department.

Adult book group - Meets the first Monday of every month @ 7pm.

Sci-Fi author Adam Dalton will be with us from 10.30 am
THE book release of the year is happening at Borders Stockport. At one minute past midnight on Thursday morning, J K Rowlings amaizing new book is released. We can't wait here at Borders so to help pass the time we will be having a fantastic party on Wednesday night. From 7pm onwards you can join us for an entire evening of Harry Potter games and activities as we countdown to Midnight and the biggest release of the year. Where will you be at Midnight ????? From 8.30pm Alistair the Magician will be on hand to amaze and entertain you with a variety of close-up magic and illusion. There will be activities all night including the 'Quality Quidditch Quiz', an X-Box tournament, wand making, face painting and the 'Breaking into Gringotts' game.
