REGULAR CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN
Press Gang
Join our Kids Specialist, Jo, every other Monday from 6pm until 7pm. Come along and help make a fabulous newsletter and see your name in print as you write competitions, puzzles and book reviews! Receive 10% off children’s books during club time. Ages 5 upwards welcome.
Craft ClubOur Kids Specialist, Cat, invites budding artists of all ages to meet every Thursday from 6pm until 7pm to put their sticky fingers to work. Limited only by the imagination, we supply the crafts you supply the craftiness! Ages 4 and upwards welcome.
Children's Book Club
The Page Turners are an elite group of kids on a special mission to Read, Write and Rave about books - do you have what it takes?
We meet the FIRST Thursday in every month from 7pm until 8pm. Unique to other book clubs we don't tell you what to read - YOU tell us! Come along and share what you are reading with the rest of the group. Tell us what you think is a seriously cool read and what was a bit pants! Take part in tasks such as our Page One Challenge, our Top Five Team Time and meet like-minded book lovers.This year we are taking part in the Royal Mail Children's Book Awards. Join us and vote for your favourite nominations. Receive your Mission Pack when you join and get 10% off children’s books during club time. Ages 5 upwards welcome.
Toddler Activity Morning
Mum, dads, grannies and grandads grab a takeaway coffee from Starbucks and bring your little ones along to the kids' corner every Friday morning from 11 to 11:45 a.m. for a chance to meet other parents. Chat with your friends while the kids are entertained with games, stories, colouring and mayhem. Age 0+

Stitch and Bitch
Come along every Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm and join in our knitting and stitching club. We provide the tea and coffee, you provide the gossip!
Beauty Therapy Sessions

Join us here on Saturday 13th September for a day of Scrumdiddllyumptious Fun. There will of course be cake and chocolate! Win a hamper of Roald Dahl inspired cakes and goodies. We kick off at 12 o'clock with some Roald Dahl Stories then challenge you to invent your own sweet, devise a Revolting Rhyme, test your Dahl knowledge and decorate HUGE slabs of chocolate cake in a way that would make Willy Wonka faint away.
Chris Bradford is author of the new book "Young Samurai" and he is coming to our store on Saturday 18th October for a very special event. As a martial arts expert Chris will be treating us to a demonstration of the skills that inspired his awesome book. He'll be reading, answering questions and signing copies.
